The Flagship Niagara will return to Erie Wednesday, August 26th at approximately 3:00 p.m. after a ten day voyage to Put-in-Bay, Ohio. The state budget woes are affecting everyone, including the PA Historical and Museum Commission. They are considering closing 6 historic sites and/or museums, including the Flagship Niagara here in Erie. The ship would stop sailing, but remain as a museum.
