The popular 8 Great Tuesdays are back starting July 7 at the Pepsi Amphitheater at Liberty Park.
All shows are free and EMTA shuttles will run from the Intermodal Transportation Center and the park and ride lots on I-79 and Lincoln Avenue.

Goverment officials from the County announced that a grant of $46,000 for the Erie County Fair. The fair will be held August 27 through September 2 at the fairgounds in Wattsburg.

Cara Spadacene of Millcreek entered a guilty plea that she ripped of the taxpayers of Erie County of $36,000. Spadacene was ‘reimbursed’ for driving over 71,000 miles while working for the Office of Children and Youth. An Amish family of a father and his two sons were fishing at the Union City Reservoir when their boat overturned. The father, Joas Troyer, was rescued by someone on the shore. Stephen and Matthew of Spartansburg drowned. None of the victims wore life jackets.
