Secretly, we kind of like days like yesterday – windy and drizzly. Not every day, mind you, but once in a while, it’s nice. We should have a few more days like that this week. Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong has a new lawyer – Douglas Sughrue. Of course, she could always change her mind 12 more times. [...]

The PA Department of Labor reported that Erie County’s jobless rate in January was at 7.2% and Crawford County was at 8.1%. It’s almost a half percentage increase compared to January 2008. Speaking of unemployment, FedEx Office (formerly Kinko’s) is offering free resume printing today (up to 25 copies). There is a FedEx Office location [...]

We’ve not hidden our thoughts that PA’s liquor laws are woefully archaic. If you go to a grocery store in New York or Ohio, you can easily buy a 6 pack of beer, but not so in PA. However, things might be changing. The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court made a ruling yesterday that now allows beer [...]

Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong spent another day at a mental competency hearing. It could be months for a judge to decide if she’s competent to stand trial. Of course she’s nut but she’s well enough to know what’s going on. Normal people don’t kill their boyfriend and stick them in a freezer nor are involved in some [...]

Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong spent 9 hours in court in the first day of two in a mental competency hearing. What a wast of time. Expert witnesses differed in their opinion according to who was paying them, the prosecution or the defense. I think everyone agrees she nuts, ie a wacked out bi__. The question is, does [...]

Sex and drugs and murder. Stephen King couldn’t come up with anything this bizarre and twisted. Brian Wells, the pizza deliveryman killed in the collar bomb explosion, was named as a co-conspirator along with Marjorie [...]

The news has broken regarding the Brian Wells Pizza Bomber Case and it’s just as bizarre as everything that’s gone on to this point. Here’s a snippet from CNN: A woman hatched a bizarre, complicated plot to fund the murder of her father with proceeds from a bank robbery using a co-conspirator posing as a [...]

A 1:30 pm press conference is scheduled so that U S Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan can announce indictments of Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong and Ken Barnes in the kidnapping of pizza deliveryman Brian Wells. Expect to hear something about Wells himself being involved somehow. This could be very interesting. On August 28 2003, pizza delivery man Brian [...]

Governor Rendell played chicken and lost. Rendell and the Pennsylvania Senate reached a budget agreement last evening. The main sticking point was Governor Rendell’s energy plan which called for a tax increase on electricity use. Pennsylvania taxpayers are fed up and Rendell needs to be reigned in. Senate Republicans opposed the tax increase. Furloughs were [...]
