The PA Department of Labor reported that Erie County’s jobless rate in January was at 7.2% and Crawford County was at 8.1%. It’s almost a half percentage increase compared to January 2008.

In case you missed the big news yesterday, a jury found former Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge Michael Joyce guilty on all the counts for bilking insurance companies $440,000 from a 2001 car accident.  Joyce will be sentenced next March on two counts of mail fraud and six counts of money laundering.

Breaking News: Michael Joyce Found Guilty


A jury in Pittsburgh has found Judge Michael Joyce guilty of all charges.
Joyce was prosecuted for mail fraud and money laundering for bilking insurance companies $440,000 from a 2001 car accident.
