The Warren Times Observer reported that a fire in a vacuum tower occurred at the United Refining Company refinery in Warren. Paragon Promotions of Erie is suspected running a fundraising scam. WJET-TV had the story by Dan Wells that Paragon Promotions is soliciting money in the Erie area. The money they are asking for is for an Erie Fire Safety Guide. It has nothing to do with the Erie Fire Department nor Erie Firefighters Local 293. [...]
