Erie PA was spared from a heavy snowfall. The CIty of Erie received 2-4 inches of snow. Strong winds forced most of the snow inland. Corry PA, in Southeast Erie County, received around 14 inches of snow. In Chautauqua County New York, just to the East of Erie, Clymer NY received 22 inches of snow. [...]

Erie PA News and Events for Monday October 10, 2005


The LifeStar helecopter that disappeared late Friday night was found on Sunday afternoon in rural Bradford County. Emergycare put out a press release saying that the pilot, Heinz Schulz of Erie, was killed upon impact. WJET-TV reported that the copter was found 5 miles southeast of the Bradford Regional Airport in a heavily wooded area. [...]
