Verizon is selling their building at 150 West 10th Street. The 200 or so workers in the building will be moved to their other Erie area locations. Verizon specifically cited high property taxes for their decision. In 2005 they paid nearly $300,000 in property taxes on the building: $92,768.37 to the city, $44,712.25 to Erie [...]
