Harborcreek Township received a $500,000 federal grant for the for its $2.6 million Shades Beach Off-Shore Improvements Project. The latest grant will be used for a walkway and parking. Incumbent Republican state Representative John Evans will face a challenge in the May primary election from Erie County Council member Carol Loll for the 5th District seat.
